1耶和华借玛拉基传给以色列的默示。 | 1The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi. |
2耶和华说：“我曾爱你们，你们却说：‘你在何事上爱我们呢？’” 耶和华说：“以扫不是雅各的哥哥吗？我却爱雅各， | 2I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, |
3恶以扫，使他的山岭荒凉，把他的地业交给旷野的野狗。 | 3And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. |
4以东人说：‘我们现在虽被毁坏，却要重建荒废之处。’ 万军之耶和华如此说：任他们建造，我必拆毁。人必称他们的地为罪恶之境，称他们的民为耶和华永远恼怒之民。 | 4Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever. |
5你们必亲眼看见，也必说：‘愿耶和华在以色列境界之外被尊为大！’” | 5And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel. |
责其不虔诚敬畏 | Accused him of being ungrateful and reverent |
6“藐视我名的祭司啊，万军之耶和华对你们说：‘儿子尊敬父亲，仆人敬畏主人。我既为父亲，尊敬我的在哪里呢？我既为主人，敬畏我的在哪里呢？’ 你们却说：‘我们在何事上藐视你的名呢？’ | 6A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? |
7你们将污秽的食物献在我的坛上，且说：‘我们在何事上污秽你呢？’ 因你们说，耶和华的桌子是可藐视的。 | 7Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible. |
8你们将瞎眼的献为祭物，这不为恶吗？将瘸腿的、有病的献上，这不为恶吗？你献给你的省长，他岂喜悦你，岂能看你的情面吗？这是万军之耶和华说的。 | 8And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts. |
9现在我劝你们恳求神，他好施恩于我们！这妄献的事既由你们经手，他岂能看你们的情面吗？这是万军之耶和华说的。 | 9And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts. |
10甚愿你们中间有一人关上殿门，免得你们徒然在我坛上烧火！万军之耶和华说：我不喜悦你们，也不从你们手中收纳供物。 | 10Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand. |
11万军之耶和华说：从日出之地到日落之处，我的名在外邦中必尊为大。在各处人必奉我的名烧香，献洁净的供物，因为我的名在外邦中必尊为大。 | 11For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts. |

12“你们却亵渎我的名，说耶和华的桌子是污秽的，其上的食物是可藐视的。 | 12But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible. |
13你们又说这些事何等烦琐，并嗤之以鼻。这是万军之耶和华说的。你们把抢夺的、瘸腿的、有病的拿来献上为祭，我岂能从你们手中收纳呢？这是耶和华说的。 | 13Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD. |
14行诡诈的在群中有公羊，他许愿却用有残疾的献给主，这人是可咒诅的！因为我是大君王，我的名在外邦中是可畏的。这是万军之耶和华说的。 | 14But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen. |
