1大卫在希伯仑所生的儿子记在下面：长子暗嫩，是耶斯列人亚希暖生的；次子但以利，是迦密人亚比该生的； | 1Now these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron; the firstborn Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess: |
2三子押沙龙，是基述王达买的女儿玛迦生的；四子亚多尼雅，是哈及生的； | 2The third, Absalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur: the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith: |
3五子示法提雅，是亚比她生的；六子以特念，是大卫的妻以格拉生的。 | 3The fifth, Shephatiah of Abital: the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife. |
4这六人都是大卫在希伯仑生的。大卫在希伯仑做王七年零六个月，在耶路撒冷做王三十三年。 | 4These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years. |
