1此后，大卫攻打非利士人，把他们制伏，从他们手下夺取了迦特和属迦特的村庄。 | 1Now after this it came to pass, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them, and took Gath and her towns out of the hand of the Philistines. |
败摩押人 | Defeated the Moabites |
2又攻打摩押，摩押人就归服大卫，给他进贡。 | 2And he smote Moab; and the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts. |
3琐巴王哈大利谢往幼发拉底河去，要坚定自己的国权。大卫就攻打他，直到哈马， | 3And David smote Hadarezer king of Zobah unto Hamath, as he went to stablish his dominion by the river Euphrates. |
4夺了他的战车一千，马兵七千，步兵二万，将拉战车的马砍断蹄筋，但留下一百辆车的马。 | 4And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: David also houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them an hundred chariots. |

5大马士革的亚兰人来帮助琐巴王哈大利谢，大卫就杀了亚兰人二万二千。 | 5And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadarezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men. |
6于是大卫在大马士革的亚兰地设立防营，亚兰人就归服他，给他进贡。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。 | 6Then David put garrisons in Syria-damascus; and the Syrians became David's servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went. |
7他夺了哈大利谢臣仆所拿的金盾牌，带到耶路撒冷。 | 7And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadarezer, and brought them to Jerusalem. |
8大卫又从属哈大利谢的提巴和均二城中夺取了许多的铜，后来所罗门用此制造铜海、铜柱和一切的铜器。 | 8Likewise from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, brought David very much brass, wherewith Solomon made the brasen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass. |
9哈马王陀乌听见大卫杀败琐巴王哈大利谢的全军， | 9Now when Tou king of Hamath heard how David had smitten all the host of Hadarezer king of Zobah; |
10就打发他儿子哈多兰去见大卫王，问他的安，为他祝福，因为他杀败了哈大利谢，原来陀乌与哈大利谢常常争战。哈多兰带了金银铜的各样器皿来。 | 10He sent Hadoram his son to king David, to enquire of his welfare, and to congratulate him, because he had fought against Hadarezer, and smitten him; (for Hadarezer had war with Tou;) and with him all manner of vessels of gold and silver and brass. |
11大卫王将这些器皿，并从各国夺来的金银，就是从以东、摩押、亚扪、非利士、亚玛力人所夺来的，都分别为圣献给耶和华。 | 11Them also king David dedicated unto the LORD, with the silver and the gold that he brought from all these nations; from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek. |
亚比筛击以东人 | Abib sifted the Edomites |
12洗鲁雅的儿子亚比筛在盐谷击杀了以东一万八千人。 | 12Moreover Abishai the son of Zeruiah slew of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand. |
13大卫在以东地设立防营，以东人就都归服他。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。 | 13And he put garrisons in Edom; and all the Edomites became David's servants. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went. |

14大卫做以色列众人的王，又向众民秉公行义。 | 14So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people. |

16亚希突的儿子撒督和亚比亚他的儿子亚希米勒做祭司长，沙威沙做书记， | 16And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Abimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Shavsha was scribe; |
17耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅统辖基利提人和比利提人，大卫的众子都在王的左右做领袖。 | 17And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and the sons of David were chief about the king. |
